USC Stevens Student Innovator Showcase
**Deadline extended to Thursday, Oct. 7, 11:59PM Pacific Time**
The annual USC Stevens Student Innovator Showcase provides an opportunity for University of Southern California undergraduate and graduate students to present their inventions, startups, and prototypes (in all disciplines) to faculty and leaders from the local venture, entrepreneur, and business community. Sponsored by the USC Stevens Center for Innovation, this flagship event offers thousands of dollars in USC-sponsored prizes to winning teams and ideas. The innovations may be anything with the potential for impact, from clean energy generation to a medical device to a technological solution for a social problem.
What: 14th Annual USC Stevens Student Innovator Showcase
When: Wednesday, November 17, 2021 (time TBD)
Where: Online (event to last approx. 2 hours)
Who: USC undergraduate and graduate students (teams or individuals) may apply to participate in the competition.
Process: Since our event will be 100% online, we’re doing things a little differently this year. Applicants will be asked to complete our questionnaire, submit a pitch deck (PPT or PDF), and record a 5-minute pitch presentation (video link), all of which will be reviewed offline by our judges. Applicants will be notified if they advance to the finals. If selected to advance to the finals, they will have the opportunity to pitch live before judges and a virtual audience at the online competition on November 17, where prizes will be awarded to the selected winners among the finalists.
