Office of Research - Limited Submission: NSF MRI
Opens Jul 20 2020 12:00 AM (PDT)
Description

This workspace is used for PIs interested in submitting to the NSF Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) program. The goal of the NSF Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Program is to increase access to shared-use/multi-user instrumentation for scientific and engineering research and training. NSF MRI awards are intended to be a capacity-building program and to enhance research training of students who will become the next generation of instrument users, designers, and builders. The Program supports two different types of proposals: 1) acquisition and 2) development, as described here: NSF 18-513.

This workspace is also used for PIs interested in seeking cost-share from the Office of Research prior to submitting to any of the NIH S10 shared instrumentation grants.

PIs must create their own SurveyMonkey account in order to proceed with submission.

This portal requires information about the PIs and Co-PIs in addition to department and contact information, including the 10-digit USC ID#, Gender, and Ethnicity. Please have this material prepared before beginning this application.

If you are experiencing technical issues using this Limited Submission workspace, please contact the Office of Research at orif@usc.edu

Investigators interested in more information should contact the Office of Research at orif@usc.edu.
